DeconWasher™ Pro S – Basket System & Accessories

Efficient cleaning process in a compact size.

Standard Basket – DWProS

The Standard Basket is essential for use with the DeconWasher™ Pro S. It can be paired with various accessories, allowing you to clean SCBAs, face masks, boots, gloves, and helmets. One Standard Basket is always included with the purchase of a DeconWasher™ Pro S.

SCBA and Helmet Holder – DWProS

The SCBA and Helmet Holder allows for the placement and decontamination of one complete SCBA. It can also hold two helmets or two air cylinders. The holder is placed inside the Standard Basket, and each basket can accommodate two holders.

With two holders, you can wash and decontaminate up to four helmets simultaneously. The SCBA and Helmet Holder can also be paired with the Accessory Basket, ensuring proper placement of the face mask. The holder is designed to position helmets in a way that maximizes decontamination results.

Accessory Basket and Accessory Basket Lid – DWProS

The Accessory Basket is designed for smaller items, such as face masks, when cleaning in the DeconWasher™ Pro S. It pairs with the Standard Basket and can hold up to four baskets.

The basket is also available with a lid, allowing you to wash and decontaminate even the smallest parts of your PPE, such as disassembled breathing valves and regulators. Its finer mesh ensures that all small parts remain safely contained during the wash cycle. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when washing your PPE.

Gear Holder – DWProS

The Gear Holder is a versatile accessory that allows you to decontaminate boots and gloves in the DeconWasher™ Pro S. It fits directly into the Standard Basket and enables you to wash up to four pairs of gloves and two pairs of boots. You can also combine boots and gloves in the same wash cycle.

Breathing Valves Holder – DWProS

The Breathing Valves Holder is used to secure up to four (4) breathing vales during a wash cycle in the DeconWasher Pro S. It is used together with the Pressure Insert (#90125, included) and an air bottle (not included).

The holder secures the air bottle and Pressure Insert with a Velcro strap and the hoses for the breathing valves are kept in place by the innovative design. Smaller parts for the breathing valves can be stored in the baskets, which come with numbered tags (1-4) that pair with the corresponding equipment to easily
identify which parts belong together.

Pressure Insert

The Pressure Insert enables washing of pressurized breathing valves to prevent moisture from entering. The need for this varies between different markets and manufacturers and is often not mandatory.

See your manufacturers washing instructions for information about your specific equipment and model. The Pressure Insert comes with a pressure gauge, but air cylinder is not included.

How to clean your PPE equipment

In order to minimize the risk for firefighters of being diagnosed with cancer we need to minimize their exposure to cancer causing toxic chemicals such as PAH particles. One way of doing that is trough thorough cleaning and decontamination of the PPE equipment. There are a few things to always bare in mind while doing so.
